The German coach, who stepped down from Liverpool in 2024, indicated that rejoining the club is something that could happen. Klopp, after a transformative nine-season tenure featuring continental glory and ending the club's long wait for three decades, now holds positions overseeing worldwide football for Red Bull and providing guidance to Germany's league body.
Fan Sentiment and Klopp’s Candid Remarks
They secured the league title under Arne Slot, but many fans who adore the manager would welcome the notion that he may eventually return. During an extensive chat, he explained to Steven Bartlett: “I declared I won't manage another team in England. Therefore if then it’s Liverpool...absolutely. Theoretically it’s possible.”
“I’m 58, so I could make the decision later on, it's uncertain. Must I choose now? Then I will not coach again. Fortunately, I don’t have to do that. I'll simply watch how things unfold.”
What Would Lure Him Back?
Questioned regarding what circumstances would need to occur to bring him back to the dugout, he confessed he isn't eager for a comeback. “I don’t even know exactly, I love what I do right now,” he said. “No longing for management; I don’t miss standing during downpours for two-and-a-half or three hours; No need for press conferences four times, three times a week or having 10-12 interviews each week.

Klopp was full of praise regarding Arne Slot, acknowledging his role for the tweaks which secured the championship last term. The team has suffered four in a row in every contest following significant transfers, but he rubbished the idea that it might signal the start of a downward turn.
